SCHOLARSHIPS

NCOA Scholarship Fund feels the pinch

The NCOA Scholarship Fund receives no federal or corporate donations and is supported entirely through donations from NCOA members.  Over the past few years, the Scholarship Fund has experienced a significant decrease in donations and for the first time since the Fund began awarding scholarships in 1975, NCOA will not be able to award any new scholarships for the upcoming 2008-09 school year.

The Scholarship Fund Administrator Tina Kish stresses, “Currently 37 students are attending school with the assistance of NCOA scholarships. We will continue to honor our commitment to these individuals who are eligible for scholarship renewals.”

Nearly $1.5 million in scholarships and grants has been awarded through the NCOA Scholarship Fund.  We need your donations and support to keep this legacy alive.
