The NCOA was established on September 21, 1960, to represent the interests of the Enlisted community.

Today, our mission continues. We advocate on issues that affect Active Duty Service Members, Guard, and Reserve members, Retirees, Veterans, and their families. We work with members of Congress, Military and Veteran organizations , and community partners to bring attention to issues that matter to the people we represent.
