MARTY WAZBINSKI, NCOA BOARD MEMBER
Marty Wazbinski has been actively involved with the Non Commissioned Officers Association since joining Chapter 1500 Trailblazers in 1991. Sir Marty has received the distinct honor of being accepted to the Knights of the Square Table in 2007. He received his elevation to the Order of Excalibur. He also is a Lifetime Member as well as a Vanguard Lifetime Member.
Marty retired from the United States Army after 29 years serving in various roles as Infantryman, Drill Sergeant, First Sergeant and Operations NCO. He was honored to receive The Order of Saint Maurice (Centurion) from the National Infantry Association.
On the civilian side he works as a Quality Coordinator. He is still very active in his community of the Mid-Michigan area, involved with various boards and organizations, as well as other Military and Veterans organizations. He has also been elected to the City of Midland, MI City Council, serving as Ward V Councilman for 24 years and as Mayor Pro Tem. He has also been awarded community awards such as the Martin Luther King Jr Recognition Award and the Lisle H Alexander Award.
In his spare time, he loves enjoying his six grandkids with his wife Margo. He is also into baseball cards and is a devoted Detroit Tiger fan
