ROBERT BARNETT, NCOA CHAIRMAN
Robert L Barnett is a Lifetime Member elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors in 2024. Robert has served on the Board of Directors since 2008 serving in all other positions on the Board during this time.
Robert served in the Air Force from April 1985 – April 2011 retiring at the rank of MSgt. He joined NCOA as E-4 Sra in 1989 at FE Warren AFB in Cheyenne Wy. He is married to Air Force Veteran Julie Barnett they have two daughters Jessica and Stephanie, and one grandson Bentley.
During Robert’s career, he deployed to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Iraq. In recognition of his service, he received the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Accommodation Medal, Air and Space Commendation Medal, Joint Service Medal, Air and Space Achievement Medal, Air Force Good Conduct Medal.
