TRAVIS MEEKER, NCOA LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEE - MILITARY AFFAIRS
Travis Meeker is a military space professional with more than two decades of experience supporting the United States Air Force, United States Space Force, and the national security space enterprise. Throughout his career, he has served in operational and leadership roles spanning satellite operations, space surveillance, missile warning, orbital safety, and space domain awareness, providing firsthand insight into the challenges facing today's military and veteran communities.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Space Studies from American Military University and an Associate of Science in Space Operations Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.
As a member of the Non Commissioned Officers Association (NCOA) Legislative Team, Travis reviews and analyzes proposed legislation affecting Service members, veterans, retirees, survivors, and military families. He develops legislative summaries and policy recommendations that support NCOA's advocacy efforts before Congress, with an emphasis on practical solutions that strengthen military readiness while improving the quality of life for those who serve and their families.
Travis is also passionate about professional military education, preserving institutional knowledge within the military space community, and fostering informed dialogue on national security and military policy. He believes effective advocacy begins with objective analysis, thoughtful collaboration, and a commitment to ensuring the voices of enlisted personnel, veterans, survivors, and military families are represented in the legislative process.
