Remember the Alamo!

The Association’s newest chapter...

San Antonio, TX – The Association’s newest chapter – the NCOA Alamo Chapter – was chartered on January 22, 2018.  Joe Terry, NCOA’s Membership Director and Tina Kish, NCOA’s Director of Member and Chapter Services, and 14 area NCOA members and interested individuals attended the organizational meeting for the chapter.
Super-motivated U.S. Army retired master sergeant Angela Boyd, previously a member of the NCOA Dragon Hill Chapter in Korea, was elected chairman. The chapter’s Board of Trustees is comprised of LN1 Nafisa Thomas (Vice Chairman), Lady Sunny Wirth (Treasurer), MSG Johnnie Garcia (Secretary) and SGT (Ret) Kitrina Bearden (Trustee).  With three Past Grand Knights and a multitude of area Knights signing on as charter members, the Alamo Chapter has years of experience to draw on.  We foresee great things for the NCOA Alamo Chapter and the service members of Joint Base San Antonio and the surrounding area!
