The NCOA Rogue Chapter recently launched a scholarship program to award scholarships to... L-R Janet Backen, Mike Backen, Bill Parks (Rogue Chapter Trustee), Terry Haines (Rogue Chapter Chairman), Ben Backen, Maci Noble, Kevin Noble, and Bud Cordes (Rogue Chapter Member). The NCOA Rogue Chapter recently launched a scholarship program to award scholarships to children or grandchildren of NCOA members or honorably discharged veterans. The scholarships can be used for traditional 2 or 4 year undergraduate programs or trade schools.
This year’s recipients of $500 scholarships are: Maci Noble, the daughter of Dawn and Kevin Noble of Eagle Point, Oregon, graduated with honors as a valedictorian from Eagle Point High School and plans to attend Oregon State University where she’ll major in Bio Health Sciences. Ben Backen, the son of Mike and Janet Backen of Medford, Oregon, graduated with honors from North Medford High School and plans to attend the University of Oregon to study Biomedical Engineering.
